Testimony

Before I truly came to know and accept the Lord, my life was not genuinely happy. Although I occasionally attended worship services, I continued to live in sin and practiced many things that were contrary to the Word of God.

I was addicted to drinking and learned to take things that did not belong to me. Whenever I became sick, instead of seeking the Lord, I relied on traditional healers. Gambling through cockfighting also became part of my life. I was deeply attracted to worldly activities and spoke carelessly with foul and hurtful words. Truly, my heart and way of life were filled with worldly practices and were far from the will of God.

In the midst of my sinful and empty life, the Lord slowly worked in my heart. Through His grace, I was led to truly understand His Word-not just by hearing it, but by allowing it to convict me. This was the time when I realized that my way of living was wrong and sinful before God, and that I desperately needed His forgiveness and guidance.

When I fully surrendered my life to the Lord Jesus, everything began to change. My life gained true meaning and direction. I finally understood the true message of God's Word and clearly saw how wrong and destructive my former ways were.

I learned that there is great joy in living a life of obedience to the Lord. Even when I lack material things and face physical illness, joy and contentment remain in my heart because my trust is now in God.

Today I continue to walk with the Lord and depend on Him in every aspect of my life.
