Faith Journey:

Testimony

Although my parents already knew the Lord and were serving God, when I reached the age of 15, I slowly began to drift away. I became disobedient to my parents, no longer listened to their advice, and lost the desire and time to pray to the Lord. My faith weakened, my hearted drifted farther from God, and I lost the joy of attending and serving His work.

When my mother became ill, her sickness lasted 5 years. During that time, I prayed constantly, asking God to heal her. But when my prayers were not answered, and I could not accept the thought of losing my mother. This trial made me question my faith and drew me even further away from God.

Everything changed when I heard the Word of God preached by Pastora Loredhel Y. Robles, based on James 1:2-8. This passage teaches believers to embrace trials with joy, for testing produces endurance and maturity. It also urges Christians to ask God for wisdom in faith, without doubting, since doubt leads to instability and hinders receiving His blessings. As I listened to the message, tears flowed freely. In that moment, I encountered the unchanging truth -- the Lord Himself -- and I surrendered my heart to him completely.

By the grace of God, I continue to serve Him today. I actively participate in His work, growing in faith and allowing Him to guide my life. Through the support and guidance of our beloved pastor, Jonathan N. Robles, I am learning to live fully for the Lord and to serve others in His name.

When did you accept the Lord?
