God's Story: The River Path

The waters ran deep and the waves were strong—this was the Pagbahan River, the only path leading to Mt. Barugante.
When Typhoon “Opong” swept through the island of Mindoro on September 26–27, 2025, it left the island in darkness for four long days. But even without electricity, the mission to share God’s love with the Mangyan indigenous people could not be stopped.
With hearts full of faith, Love Beyond Borders and TRIBE Mission International (TMI)—through its dedicated students—set out once again for the mountains. Their journey was not easy. There was no road, only the river. Step by step, they waded through the strong current, trusting God with every move. This was the River Path.
Through the ongoing encouragement, prayers, and support of TMI, these students knew they were not alone in their ministry. To all TMI partners, donors, and supporters—your love and generosity are making a lasting impact. Because of you, many among the Mangyan tribe are now experiencing the transforming love of God.
