TRIBE Trip - Philippines
Get ready for a journey that will stretch your heart, test your limits, and transform your faith.
Your adventure begins in the vibrant heart of the Philippines—Manila—where you’ll spend two days immersed in cultural orientation. The bustling energy, colourful streets, and warm hospitality of the capital will give you a bold introduction to the Filipino spirit before we set off on the next leg of our journey.

From Manila, we board a ferry and sail to the stunning island of Mindoro. There, nestled in the hills and surrounded by jungle, lies our base camp—the launching pad for an unforgettable mission into remote tribal communities.
​
You’ll live among the tribe, not as tourists, but as fellow members of the community. You’ll help elevate the voice of the local pastor, creating space for powerful gospel encounters through house visits, children’s ministry, rice distribution, storytelling, and worship under the stars.
​
Our time in Manila also includes our first ministry outreach in a local barrio, offering a glimpse into the rhythm of urban Filipino life. But the real adventure begins in the tribal villages—where you’ll sleep in huts, cross rivers, trek up mountains, and share the hope of Jesus in places few ever go.

As the trip concludes, we return to Manila to serve in some of the city's most under-resourced areas, confronting the raw realities of urban poverty. The contrast between rural and urban hardship will challenge and deepen your understanding of what it means to serve.
